Get your first sample out

At the top of Find Businesses, the Get your first sample out checklist shows five steps, from a search to a sent email. Each step checks itself off when you've done it.

  1. Search for businesses. Pick a type of business, type a town like "Austin, TX", and click Find businesses.
  2. Pick a business. Click Open on a business to see what Explaindio found on its website. Start with one marked "No video on site".
  3. Create its sample video. On the business, click Create sample video. It takes a few minutes, and you can leave the page while it's made.
  4. Make the sample page. Click Make the sample page to send. That's the page the owner sees: their video, with a watermark and no download.
  5. Send it. Click Write the email for me, read it, then click Send it from my own email. When it's sent, click I sent it.

If you haven't added your name and business yet, step 4 asks for them first. Click Add my details. The sample page shows who made it.

When all five are done, you'll see Your first sample is out. Click Find more businesses to keep going.
